Fagen Fighters WWII Museum in Granite Falls, MN
Fagen Fighters WWII Museum is home to a pristine collection of fully operational, active aircraft and vehicles from World War II. Also featured are fine art, bronze sculptures, interactive multimedia displays, and an ever-growing library. The facility is designed as a self guided experience, and gives a rare look into the lives and legacy of the Greatest Generation.
Located in Granite Falls, Minnesota, the Fagen Fighters WWII Museum is a showcase of some of the most significant aircraft and ground equipment in that epic conflict. Most importantly, it is a tribute to the men and women of The Greatest Generation whose incredible sacrifices during that time shaped the freedom and liberty we enjoy today. Our mission is to preserve the memory of the heroes of WWII, promote patriotism in today's Americans, and inspire tomorrow's leaders to study and apply history's lessons. Through our exhibits, programs, and facilities, we hope to instill in all ages the curiosity and desire to learn more about this critical time in the history of the United States.
I had the joy of visiting the Fagen Fighters WWII Museum. My wife took me on a surprise trip for my birthday and would not tell me where we were going. I was driving the vehicle that we took and the best that she would tell me was when to turn next. I have loved the aircraft from WWI and WWII since I was a boy, can you imagine the excitement I felt when we turned into the parking lot?! This museum is awesome! So many aircraft to get close and personal with. Dioramas, vintage gear, landcraft, and more. They also have days that they fly these vintage aircraft. I recommend everyone to go and visit the Fagen Fighters WWII Museum, you will enjoy it!
