Here you see three pendant light fixtures over a peninsula. This is very common to do over a peninsula or island. You may get very design orientated or artsy with this type of fixture, depending on the globe you install. These fixtures are holding the globe and fixture with a cord but the two other common types use chain or tubular posts to hold the fixture and globe. These fixtures were installed in a kitchen of a duplex created from a larger home in the Uptown neighborhood of Minneapolis.
